Riparian Vegetation Influences
In certain channels, adjustments are seen as a result of riparian vegetation removal or changes. Width to depth ratios of Stream types C, D, E and F increase when riparian tree and shrub species are converted to grasses. This sets in motion a series of adjustments to increase sediment Deposition and trend toward a new stability.
